The mountain |

As rain plays tunes across the fields and thunder leads the band Oh nature, such a part of me my love come take my hand While we two walk so slowly 'cross the islands of our dreams And leave behind the world of men dismal, lonely, so full of schemes The forests roll down gently from the mountains' top above Come touch me, touch me, come, take me home my love. As brooks and streams and rivers roll downwards to the sea So will your love flow far away returning ever back to me For clouds I'll search Whenever my face turns towards the sun For with no rain, no river could forever onward run. The storm has slowed peace washes back The path is cleared no longer do we hack our way through our emotions You're there now Wherever that might be 'Till next time storms roll fierce across Your light I'll always see. No particle of envy, hatred, greed, will we now feel There's nothing left to touch you, when touched by one so real. -------------------------------------------- Reflections upon snoitcelfeR © Martin C.
